We are delighted to announce our marketing and graphic team has been shortlisted for the 2020 Women in Construction Award by the National Building Awards.
What are the National Building Awards?
The National Building and Construction Awards was set up to raise the profile of industrious, hardworking and enterprising building and construction businesses. It includes a variety of categories (23 in total), from Apprentice of the Year to Project of the Year to a Green/Sustainability award.
What will the winner will be judged on?
The women will be judged on two key things: how they have contributed to the business over the last 12 months and how they have demonstrated an exceptional drive in a male dominated business. The entries will be assessed by four judges at a black-tie event in London in June.
About our marketing and graphic design team
Our skilled marketing and graphic design team includes six women, and they work tirelessly to produce a variety of material for the company. For example, the graphics department contributes to everything from company branding to tender documents to interior design elements for clients, while the marketing department oversees content creation for the website, social media channels, PR communications and more.
The skills each team member brings are key in projecting a strong, dependable and on-brand company profile, and this ultimately helps to generate leads and secure contracts. Of course, generating revenue is central to the success of every company, so the part the team plays in winning work makes it an integral and invaluable part of.
In addition to producing content for Modus, the team offers a bespoke marketing service to clients. This adds value to a client’s project and can include website design, blog writing, team and interior photography, press outreach support, social media promotion, and brand guideline development. Furthermore, the team organises and promotes office launches, which is a great way to sign off projects and build a lasting relationship between the two companies.
Thank you to the National Building Awards
Everyone at Modus will agree that the team’s contribution over the last 12 months has been crucial to the success of the business. Moreover, the incredible work the team produces on a regular basis highlights that women are now thriving in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
Not only are we proud of the women for being nominated, we’re proud of them for the dedication they show every day to make the company a success. Their remarkable contribution certainly doesn’t go unnoticed.
Finally, we’d like to say thank you to the National Building Awards for the nomination. We’d also like to say well done to the others who have been shortlisted and good luck on the night. Like everyone else, we’ll be counting down the days to the award show with our fingers crossed!
