Modus Workspace is pleased to be among the inspiring global design talent to have been shortlisted as a finalist in this year’s SBID International Design Awards for its entry, A New Era for Numis in the Workplace Fit Out Project of the Year and Office Design Over 2,000 SqM category.
Evaluated by a panel of distinguished, industry-leading experts for design functionality, innovation, creativity and technical execution, an SBID Award is considered one of the most coveted accolades for design excellence. Success in this GOLD-rated Awards programme demonstrates the highest level of design skill and professional mastery across the interior design profession.
Our brief set by Numis was to remove barriers to communication, encourage interaction and create a positive environment in which people can thrive.
The wonderful external terraces are accessible to all staff and connect directly to generous breakout and informal working areas. A staircase links the working floors with the client floor and allows seamless communication between teams as a powerful embodiment of this design intent. It sits within an oversized opening allowing oblique and indirect views between the floors – encouraging a sense of connectivity and togetherness.
To complete the final stage of judging, the public are now invited to vote for their favourite finalist designs - accounting for an impressive 30% of the overall results!
