A Fusion of Legacy and Innovation

Lotus's new headquarters in Clerkenwell’s historic Ragged School blends heritage with innovative design, invoking the pioneering spirit of Lotus’s co-founder, Hazel Chapman. This workspace transforms the old school into a dynamic hub that embodies Lotus’s spirit beyond their celebrated automotive history. The workplace promotes collaboration and creativity through its multifunctional ribbon desks, minimalist aesthetics, and vibrant digital branding. Exposed brick walls and original wooden beams have been retained embracing the natural warmth and character of the building.  Contemporary elements have been seamlessly integrated, reflecting Lotus’s commitment to purpose-driven design.

Emphasising Sustainability and Versatility

Sustainability is woven into the project through energy-efficient lighting, the retained herringbone wood flooring from the previous fit-out, and an emphasis on preserving original features. Adaptive spaces cater to diverse needs, from multifunctional meeting rooms to tranquil relaxation areas. The tower’s previously underutilised subfloors have been transformed into functional areas, optimising space efficiency with dedicated rooms for multi-faiths and parenting, reflecting Lotus’s commitment to inclusivity and a forward-thinking approach. This workspace emulates Lotus’ rich heritage whilst propelling the brand towards a sustainable and innovative future.
